Job description

Have you led field construction on a major airport project and want to bring that experience to a long-term opportunity in Miami?

This is an opportunity to lead the field organization for a major airport expansion using modular construction, with new construction connecting to an operating airport and completed areas turning over in phases.

You will help organize the field team and drive execution from mobilization through completion, working with Project Executives, airport representatives, airlines, designers, and trade partners. The work calls for someone who can see how the entire project comes together, anticipate constraints, and keep multiple Superintendents aligned.

If you enjoy taking ownership of complex field operations and want to make Florida home, this five-year project is worth a confidential conversation. We are searching nationally for a leader prepared to reside in Florida for a minimum of five years.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Establish and lead the field organization, including multiple Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, subcontractors, and major trade partners.
• Direct overall field execution, including logistics, phasing, sequencing, schedule, safety, and quality.
• Coordinate modular construction activities with the overall field schedule and connections to the existing airport.
• Plan construction around continuing airport and airline operations.
• Align staffing, trade activities, deliveries, and field priorities with project milestones.
• Work with project leadership and stakeholders to resolve field challenges and maintain accountability.
• Lead phased turnover of completed areas and gates while construction continues elsewhere.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

• Proven overall field leadership on at least one aviation construction project valued at $500 million or more.
• Experience as a General Superintendent, Lead Superintendent, Project Superintendent, or equivalent senior field leader with responsibility for the overall project.
• Major airport terminal, concourse, gate, aviation infrastructure, or airport expansion experience.
• Experience building and leading large field teams with multiple Superintendents and major trade partners.
• Experience managing construction and phased turnover in an active airport environment.
• The technical knowledge, communication skills, and judgment to coordinate a complex project across construction and airport stakeholders.
• Willingness to reside in Florida for a minimum of five years and lead the project through its major phases.
