Florida Construction Connection – The Breistol Method® is seeking a General Superintendent to lead field operations for a major South Florida high-rise condominium and hotel project. You will oversee multiple Superintendent teams, manage schedules and trade coordination, and ensure safety, quality, and timely turnover.

The role requires proven leadership on large-scale high-rise construction, strong problem-solving abilities, and a track record of delivering complex developments.

• Lead overall field operations from mobilization through completion and final turnover.

• Coordinate complex high-rise structural, architectural, MEP, building envelope, and specialty construction scopes.
• Work closely with senior operations leadership, Project Managers, consultants, and trade partners to maintain project alignment.
• Monitor field productivity, subcontractor performance, quality standards, and schedule commitments.
• Anticipate construction challenges and implement solutions before they impact project delivery.
• Establish and maintain a strong jobsite culture focused on safety, teamwork, communication, and accountability.
• Oversee inspections, quality control, punch lists, phased turnover, and project closeout.
• Provide consistent field reporting and project updates to senior leadership.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an accomplished General Superintendent to lead field operations for a major $400M+ high-rise condominium and hotel construction project in South East Florida.

This opportunity is for a proven construction leader with extensive experience delivering large-scale, high-rise residential and hospitality projects. The General Superintendent will oversee overall site execution, lead multiple Superintendent teams, and maintain accountability for construction schedules, coordination, quality, safety, and successful project turnover.

The right individual brings strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to building relationships, developing people, and delivering exceptional results. South Florida high-rise construction or hotel construction experience is strongly preferred.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

• Proven experience as a General Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, or Lead Superintendent on major high-rise construction projects.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale high-rise condominium, residential, and/or hotel construction.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple Superintendent teams, subcontractors, and specialty trades.
• Experience with projects of comparable scale and complexity to a $400M+ development.
• South Florida high-rise or hotel construction experience strongly preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of high-rise construction methods, structural systems, vertical logistics, MEP coordination, and building envelope systems.
• Proven ability to manage construction schedules, sequencing, manpower, subcontractor coordination, and milestone execution.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, inspections, quality control, safety, and project closeout.
• Ability to anticipate and resolve complex field challenges while protecting schedule, quality, and productivity.Strong leadership presence with the ability to direct and develop multiple Superintendent teams.
• Proven ability to establish expectations, hold trade partners accountable, and maintain field performance.
• Excellent communication, organization, planning, and problem-solving skills.
