Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking General Laborers in Abilene, TX to support various construction projects. The role involves performing manual labor, assisting skilled trades, and maintaining a clean, safe site.

You will load/unload materials, operate basic tools, and follow safety protocols on all assignments. Qualified candidates typically have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in construction or physically demanding environments is a plus.
• Ability to perform strenuous labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping and standing for long periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable transportation to Abilene, TX area.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor duties such as digging, lifting, carrying materials, and clearing debris.
• Assist skilled craft workers (e.g., pipe layers, concrete finishers, equipment operators) as needed.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
• Clean and prepare construction sites, including sweeping, raking, and removing hazards.
• Operate small hand tools and power tools under supervision.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including wearing PPE.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
