Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking an experienced equipment operator to support heavy civil construction projects in Abilene, TX. You will operate multiple heavy machines, follow safety protocols, and work closely with the crew to meet plans.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, bulldozers, graders, scrapers, compactors, and loaders safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections and report issues to supervisor.
• Adhere to safety regulations and wear PPE.
• Maintain daily operation, maintenance, and production logs.
• Grade and excavate according to plans with precision.
• Assist with loading/unloading materials as needed.
• Communicate effectively with crew and supervisors.

Job Overview

Job Summary: Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, and loaders to assist in the construction of heavy civil projects in Abilene, TX, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate various types of heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, graders, scrapers, compactors, and loaders, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of equipment, reporting any mechanical issues or defects to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain accurate daily logs of equipment operation, maintenance, and production.
• Grade and excavate according to plans and specifications, ensuring accurate and precise work.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials, as needed.
• Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and other site personnel.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on equipment, such as greasing and cleaning.
• Work in varying weather conditions and on challenging terrain.

Job Qualifications
