Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of combined experience in construction site support, courier or delivery driving, or automotive or fleet administration.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• MVR must meet company standards.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Ability to repeatedly lift, push, pull, and carry items weighing up to 50 to 75 pounds.
• Strong local-road knowledge, familiarity with construction supply vendors, and GPS routing proficiency.
• Ability to enter and maintain information in spreadsheets, fleet-management software, or similar systems; telematics familiarity preferred.
• Basic understanding of automotive components and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials, tools, fixtures, blueprints, permits, and equipment between suppliers, main yard, and active sites.
• Complete urgent supply runs to local hardware stores and distributors upon request.
• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload materials and machinery with minimal damage.
• Submit packing slips, delivery tickets, and receipts to project coordinators daily.
• Assist site teams with offloading, storage organization, and staging materials near work zones.
• Schedule, dispatch, and track routine preventive maintenance and repairs with third-party providers.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness and safety equipment.
• Maintain digital fleet records for registrations, inspections, insurance, service histories, and driver assignments.
• Manage vehicle checkout procedures and asset relocation across facilities and jobsites.
• Follow site safety rules and proper cargo-securing methods.
