Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience repairing and maintaining construction or heavy equipment.
• Ability to follow specific directions and perform a variety of duties that may frequently change.
• Ability to work within standards of accuracy, repeat short-duration tasks according to established procedures, and evaluate information using measurable standards.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects.
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders, scaffolds, and other objects while carrying tools and equipment.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• Visual ability sufficient to perform job duties, naturally or with correction.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must meet company standards.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, set up, adjust, maintain, and repair construction equipment.
• Service and repair internal combustion engines, air compressors, pumps, and concrete mixers.
• Maintain and repair heavy earth-moving equipment, rock crushers, and paving equipment.
• Perform welding duties as needed to repair equipment.
• Inspect equipment, identify repair needs, and complete work within established standards of accuracy.
• Follow specific directions and established procedures while performing duties that may change based on project needs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
