Job summary

Hi-Way Paving, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to manage our fleet of vehicles, trailers, and heavy equipment across multiple locations. You will ensure compliance, registrations, rentals, telematics, and asset documentation, keeping units job-ready and aligned with standards.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in fast-paced construction environments. Regular travel to Ohio and other sites is required.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle registrations.
• Experience coordinating rental equipment with external vendors is preferred.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and record-keeping skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and fleet software is required.
• Ability to travel regularly to job sites, including out-of-state.

Responsibilities

• Track vehicle performance metrics and maintenance data.
• Verify data entries for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with fleet managers, technicians, and purchasing staff.
• Maintain organized fleet records and compliance files.
• Input and track data in fleet management systems.
• Travel monthly to Ohio and other sites to inspect fleet and support operations.
• Collaborate with field and shop teams to address deficiencies and optimize readiness.
