Job summary

Hi-Way Paving, a general contractor in heavy civil construction, seeks a Fleet Coordinator to manage vehicle fleets, registrations, telematics, and asset documentation across locations. You will ensure units are job-ready, compliant, and well documented, while supporting field and shop teams.

The role requires organized, detail-oriented individuals who can follow processes, maintain records, and travel monthly to Ohio and other sites to verify equipment readiness and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet coordination or equipment management in construction settings.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations, IFTA reporting, vehicle registration, and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors, field leaders, and shop personnel.

Responsibilities

• Track vehicle performance and maintenance data.
• Ensure data entries are complete, accurate, and consistent.
• Collaborate with technicians, fleet managers, and purchasing staff.
• Maintain organized fleet data for budgeting and cost analysis.
• Input and track information in fleet management software and inventory systems.
• Coordinate rentals and vendor quotes for active job sites.
• Travel monthly to Ohio and other job locations to inspect fleet and support operations.
• Ensure compliance with registrations, inspections, and safety requirements.
• Support field and shop teams to address deficiencies and equipment readiness.
