Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in construction-related markets.
• Strong WIP accounting knowledge and construction-specific concepts.
• Accounting foundation with audit or corporate experience.

Responsibilities

• Support financial oversight for newly acquired regional divisions during integration
• Partner with regional operating leaders to drive business growth and margin optimization
• Build 3 to 5 year financial forecasts and budgets in collaboration with regional leadership
• Support financial due diligence on potential acquisitions
• Manage and interpret work in progress accounting, including percent of completion, unearned revenue, and overbuild/underbuild scenarios
• Consolidate and analyze data across multiple accounting systems to support timely reporting
• Travel to jobsites to build hands on understanding of field operations
• Identify and help capture organic synergies as regional businesses are combined
• Review and sign off on financials, understanding how transactions impact the balance sheet and income statement
• Support the evolution of the finance function as the company grows
