Job summary

T5 Data Centers is seeking a Finance Project Controls professional to own financial and contractual authority on construction projects, ensuring alignment between budget, commitments, contract terms, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

The role partners with Operations and Finance to provide financial analysis and risk guidance while maintaining adherence to contractual/audit requirements. Procore proficiency and data center experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or project management required.
• 4–8 years’ experience in a similar role, required.
• MBA is a plus, or can be applied toward the experience requirement.
• Previous business partnering, data center, or NetSuite experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Financial accuracy and reporting integrity.
• Contract compliance and enforceability.
• Budget control and forecasting.
• Transparent communication across stakeholders.
• Review of all project contracts with Project Management and Operations Leadership prior to execution.
• Set up and structure of projects in Procore to include budgets and cost codes, Owner Schedule of Values (SOV), and project commitments.
• Oversight of budget throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Maintaining the project budget, contract values, commitments, and change orders.
• Identifying any gaps in the budget, misalignments of costs, and unsupported values.
• Tracking actuals vs budget, commitment vs remaining, and forecast to completion while identifying cost overruns and risks early.
• Prepare and coordination of Owner Pay Applications ensuring alignment with Prime Contract SOV, costs, and all compliance documentation.
• Prepare and review monthly execution reports with operational leadership.
• Assist with process-improvement, automation, systems integration and enhancement projects as assigned.
