Job summary

Florida Glass & Aluminum, a Southwest Florida commercial glass and glazing contractor, seeks a senior finance leader who owns the full accounting function from day-to-day transactions to month-end close and reporting. You will partner with ownership and lenders, build job-cost insights, manage AP/AR and payroll, and support growth and potential acquisitions.

You bring 10+ years in accounting/finance, deep job costing and GAAP expertise, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting or finance experience in construction, trades, or project-based business.
• Deep understanding of job costing and project-level financial management.
• Strong GAAP-based reporting and attention to detail while seeing the bigger financial picture.
• Clear, professional communication; CPA, MBA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll oversight.
• Provide high-level financial analytics to advise and support strategically across the business.
• Lead monthly close process with accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain job costing and WIP reporting across active projects, flag margin variances early.
• Deliver a clean monthly financial dashboard and reports for ownership.
