Job summary

This role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, job costing, and financial planning within a growing construction business. The ideal candidate has a CPA and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, extensive experience managing accounting teams, and a track record of improving processes,

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ability to collect, assemble, analyze, and present financial data and reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
• Ability to communicate financial concepts effectively to both financial and operational stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to develop collaborative relationships across departments and levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Accounting Department.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and schedules.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Develop financial models and analyses to support business planning and decision-making.
• Lead accounting team and coach staff to drive improvement.
• Partner with executives to support strategic growth initiatives.
