Job summary

Corvant is seeking a Commercial Construction Assistant Controller to support financial reporting, accounting records, and cash management for mission-critical facilities. You will assist with month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance across a growing construction-focused team.

The role emphasizes collaboration with leadership, training junior staff, and ensuring accurate financial data to drive strategic decisions. Strong GAAP knowledge and ERP experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience with reporting and analysis.
• Experience with AP/AR and general ledger activities.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare financial reports for leadership and auditors in a timely manner.
• Maintain accounting records including GL entries and journal entries.
• Support AP/AR functions and vendor reconciliations.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Help ensure internal controls and regulatory compliance.
