Job summary

Intertek is seeking an Engineering Field Technician I in the Greater Denver Area (Westminster, CO) to perform testing, observations, and site assessments under supervision. The role entails handling soil and concrete tests, documenting results, and using drawings and specifications in the field.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Required: High School/GED.
• Must have some experience in the construction industry.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Must be able to work overtime and travel up to 25%.
• Ability to lift/move 30–50 pounds frequently; sometimes over 50 with assistance.
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather and at various heights.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (soil, concrete or other) and report data.
• Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams.
• Perform tasks and make detailed site observations and limited interpretations of results.
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.
