Bolton & Menk, Inc. is offering a 3‑month DOD SkillBridge Construction Project Representative program in Minnesota. This immersive opportunity teams you with our seasoned construction services group to apply newly learned skills on real projects.

You will gain hands-on experience in the field, conduct observations, and develop documentation while collaborating with staff, landowners, contractors, and subcontractors. Relocation is not included.

Qualifications

• Must be a Military Service Member with 180 days of service or fewer remaining before separation date.
• Must be able to work in extended outdoor conditions and navigate rugged terrain.
• General knowledge of public infrastructure/civil construction.
• Ability to perform basic engineering survey measurements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction observations and staking on assigned projects.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of construction activities, including quantities and materials testing.
• Perform basic engineering computations and basic surveying measurements.
• Gaining experience reviewing and approving project submittals, contract pay vouchers, work orders, change orders, and supplemental agreements.
• Interact with staff, landowners, contractors, and subcontractors.
