Banda Group International (BGI) is seeking a Construction Field Operations Manager to lead field activities at TA-55 for Los Alamos National Laboratory, ensuring safety, schedule, and compliance in a Hazard Category 2 nuclear facility.

The role requires regular field presence, coordinating resources across operations, project teams, and customers, and providing technical leadership for construction, D&D, and modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a technical discipline with 8+ years of related experience.
• Experience in construction, field operations, or project execution.
• Experience coordinating complex technical activities and resources.
• Knowledge of work control, QA/QC, and documentation requirements.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and ensure compliance.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams, customers, and stakeholders.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and field oversight for construction, D&D, and modernization activities.
• Coordinate work readiness, staffing, resources, and technical requirements across operations and project teams.
• Ensure work is performed safely, securely, and in compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee project deliverables, schedules, budgets, and operational performance.
• Coordinate field execution and resolve complex technical and operational issues.
• Ensure construction engineering standards and work practices are consistently applied across projects.
• Develop, maintain, and improve operational processes, procedures, and documentation.
• Support work approvals, readiness reviews, incidents investigations, issues management, and corrective actions.
