Job summary

COMPA Industries seeks a Project Manager 2 working as a Construction Superintendent at LANL's TA-55. Lead field crews, coordinate with engineers and QC, and oversee projects up to $500K.

The role requires nuclear experience and the ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance, with training during the first months and two-year assignment duration. Expect 4x12 fixed shifts within a 24/7 operation, with days or nights and four shift configurations.

Qualifications

• Requires engineering or scientific training or coursework in PM.
• Ten years of work exp with at least 5 years in engineering/procurement/construction.
• DOE Q clearance is required or pending; active clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct craft crews in field execution of nuclear facility work.
• Lead pre-job briefings, scope, hazards, PPE, and approvals.
• Manage scope, schedule, and EVMS reporting; may serve as CAM.
• Identify risks; develop mitigation and corrective actions.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.
