Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, a Class A or B CDL preferred.
• Ability to make decisions on repairing or replacing components.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on construction equipment.
• Conduct diesel and gas engine diagnostics and repairs using computer diagnostics.
• Document repairs and maintenance activities.

Skills

Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics of electrical and hydraulics

Technical decision-making on repairs

Knowledge of DOT regulations

Problem-solving with mechanical systems

Education

Technical degree or 1-3 years' experience or extensive mechanical ability
