Job summary

Pave America, LLC is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic with 3+ years of experience to join our team in Utah. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered trucks, earth-moving equipment, and related construction gear.

Responsibilities include on-site repairs, preventive maintenance, and complex diagnostics. Welding skills are utilized as needed, and strong teamwork is essential for success in field service environments.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a heavy equipment diesel mechanic.
• Experience with large tractor-trailer diesels (CAT/Cummins).
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, fuel systems and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and heavy machinery on-site and at job locations.
• Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Handle complex repairs independently and safely.
• Utilize welding skills for various types of welding as needed.
• Communicate repair progress and parts inventory needs to management.
