Job summary

Suncore Construction & Materials is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our construction equipment fleet. The role focuses on diesel engines, hydraulics, and troubleshooting to keep equipment moving efficiently.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and hydraulic diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in the construction industry.
• Experience with Oshkosh mixer trucks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diesel engine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on construction equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks.
• Inspect equipment and identify worn or damaged parts for repair or replacement.
• Troubleshoot engine fault codes using diagnostic tools and equipment.
