Job summary

LiRo-Hill is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector for NYS OGS projects in the Albany region. The role covers on-site inspection across multiple trades, ensuring conformance to contracts, quality control, and safety compliance.

Strong communication and leadership are essential for coordinating with clients and subcontractors. Travel may be required, and the ideal candidate will bring OSHA 30 and a proven ability to manage schedules and budgets, delivering reports and facilitating on-site

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years trade experience inspecting large scale building projects valued above $1 Million.
• Ability to develop and communicate a project work plan, monitor manpower and performance.
• Strong communications and a collaborative approach with client and contractors.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• OSHA 30

Responsibilities

• Provide construction inspection for multi trade contracts to ensure conformance with contract requirements.
• Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control standards and coordinate with Regional Code Officer.
• Keep projects on schedule and within budget while meeting client needs.
• Perform inspections, prepare reports, run meetings and expedite contract execution.
• Maintain daily written progress reports and document issues on site.
• Identify and resolve problems, conduct meetings, and communicate with team members.
• Monitor contractor safety operations and coordinate with Regional Safety Manager.
• Travel may be required.
