Job summary

LaBella Associates is seeking experienced Construction Inspectors to join our team in Albany and Poughkeepsie, NY. This role supports field observation, documentation, and coordination across project locations as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary firm.

The position offers opportunity for growth within a dynamic environment focused on high-quality project delivery; travel to field locations is expected on a regular basis.

Qualifications

• Prior relevant work experience and knowledge of roads, stormwater utilities, water and sanitary sewer installations; SWPPP inspections.
• 3–5 years of Construction Inspection experience, or a 4-year degree plus 1–3 years of Inspection experience.
• Knowledge of erosion and sediment control installation and maintenance; OSHA 10-hour certification preferred.
• Microsoft Office experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Additional certification requirements may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Observe construction activities and document field conditions.
• Interpret construction documents and prepare field and record documents.
• Travel regularly to Albany or Poughkeepsie project sites and coordinate with sites.
