Sundt Construction is seeking a Field Coordinator to support the project team by reviewing construction documents, subcontracts, and purchase orders, and by responding to questions about drawings, specs, shop drawings, and change orders.

The role emphasizes collaboration with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. It is an entry-level position with minimal prior experience, offering growth and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of similar construction experience.
• Associate degree preferred or equivalent combination of training or related experience.
• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists in change order preparations, including time extensions, before submittal to the owner; maintains change order log and distributes documents to field personnel.
• Supports project quality management and safety culture; participates in risk management and monitoring.
• Assists with procurement scheduling and integration with project CPM schedule to ensure timely completion.
• Supports understanding of the project management plan and contributes to its execution; aids team development.
• Performs project scope activities and helps ensure work aligns with contract documents and specifications.
• Assists with takeoffs for concrete, asphalt, earthwork, and utilities; coordinates submittals and procurement plans.
