  • Tools, Equipment & Site Support: track tools and radios on site; maintain equipment records.
  • General Support: take on additional duties to support project success.

Location: Project Site / Field Office

Reports To: Project Manager / Operations Leadership

Position Overview

The Construction Field Administrator plays a critical role in supporting our project teams by managing the operational, documentation, and daily flow of construction projects from the field. Working primarily from an on-site trailer or field office, this role serves as a key connector between the field and the office—helping ensure accurate documentation, clear communication, and timely project execution. This position requires organization, adaptability, and a strong sense of ownership in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
Field Coordination & Communication
  • Serve as a support to Project Managers, superintendents and the office team.
  • Assist with project scheduling, site logistics, and coordination of inspections.
  • Support field leadership with administrative and coordination needs to keep work moving efficiently.
Daily Reporting & Ticket Management
  • Receive, review, file, and package:
    • Daily reports
    • Daily plan sheets
    • DCRs (Daily Construction Reports)
    • Daily field tickets
  • Receive, file, and organize material tickets and subcontractor tickets for accurate job costing and reporting.
  • Ensure documentation is complete, timely, and submitted in accordance with company standards.
Tools, Equipment & Site Support
  • Assign, track, and manage specialty tools and radios on site.
  • Maintain organized records of issued and returned equipment.
General Support
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a team-first mindset by taking on additional duties as needed to support project success.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred
Experience
  • 2–5 years of experience in construction administration, project coordination, or project support roles preferred
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in construction management software, including HCSS HeavyJob
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Soft Skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership
