Cape Associates, Inc. in Massachusetts seeks an Equipment Operator/General Laborer to support field crews with safe operation of trucks and machinery. You will perform maintenance, assist on job sites, and help manage tools and materials.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to follow orders under pressure, and experience operating equipment. CDL and Hoisting license preferred; OSHA 10 required. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Driver's License and Hoisting Engineer License (2A) required.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Ability to operate light-duty trucks & trailers; strong communication skills.
• Experience operating construction equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment per health and safety regulations.
• Perform safety checks and basic maintenance.
• Be proficient in positioning equipment before operations.
• Train new crew on safe operation of equipment.
• Assist warehouse team and manage tools/equipment.
• Ensure job sites are safe, clean and organized.
• Report faults to supervisor promptly.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions.
