41 North Contractors, LLC. is seeking an Estimator II to price all aspects of projects, align with designs, and maintain budgets and schedules.

The role involves planning costs, producing timely bids, and ensuring profitability for our Chicago and Phoenix market projects. Responsibilities include reviewing RFPs, coordinating budgets, solicitations, and bid packages, and collaborating with Directors, PMs, and Superintendents for turnover meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent construction management experience.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Ability to work with architects, developers, and business owners.

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs, drawings, and specs to determine scope and estimate contents.
• Establish preliminary budgets with clients/representatives.
• Conduct hard bid solicitations and prepare bid packages.
• Coordinate subcontractor bids and supplier quotes to meet specs and budget.
• Perform quantity take-offs and develop estimates prior to subcontractor input.
• Maintain files backing estimate figures and develop preliminary schedules.
• Assist with subcontractor buyouts for negotiated projects.
• Participate in post-bid analyses with the Sales team.
