Job summary

KBE Building Corporation in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an Estimator II to gather and calculate data for conceptual and bid estimates. You will maintain price data from suppliers and subcontractors and prepare routine estimates under general supervision.

Working directly with the Estimating/Pre-Con Director, you will develop subcontractor lists, solicit bids, and price work for divisions 2–16. A Bachelor’s in construction-related field and 5–10 years of estimating experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or Engineering.
• 5–10 years of construction estimating experience.
• Proficient with estimating software such as Timberline, On-screen Take-off and IsqFt.

Responsibilities

• Review project documents, specifications and drawings to prepare estimates.
• Gather data from suppliers and subcontractors for conceptual and bid estimates.
• Prepare bid packages and analyzes of subcontractor bids.
• Interface with owner, architect and engineers to obtain cost data.
• Utilize master subcontractor lists and bid software to compile estimates.
