Job summary

Performance Contracting Group is seeking an experienced Estimator for its San Diego operations in CA. You will perform quantitative takeoffs, establish labor productivities, and manage subcontractor pricing while maintaining vendor relations.

The role includes involvement in bid reviews and contract administration for secured projects. A focus on cost analysis, detail-oriented reading of specifications and drawings, and collaboration with operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in construction estimating or managing specialty scopes.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI's scopes.
• Strong customer relationship track record and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with solid cost analysis capabilities.
• Proficiency with takeoff/estimating software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative takeoffs on construction projects.
• Establish labor productivities for estimates and analyze margins.
• Solicit subcontractor pricing and maintain vendor relationships.
• Participate in internal bid reviews with project teams.
• Prepare contract administration and hand off projects to operations.
• Support product line collaboration and change order management.
