Job summary

Performance Contracting Group, based in Portland, OR, is seeking an experienced estimator to bid and pursue work in the greater Oregon market. You will perform takeoffs, solicit subcontractor pricing, and maintain vendor relationships to ensure competitive pricing.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the estimating team, reviewing bids with project staff, and hand‑off of secured projects to operations. Salary ranges from $85,000 to $105,000 and requires at least 2 years of estimating

Qualifications

• 2+ years estimating construction projects.
• Experience with estimating/project management/managing specialty scopes.
• Ability to read schedules for sequencing and durations.
• Strong ability to read, understand and interpret specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative takeoffs on construction projects.
• Maintain relationships with area vendors for pricing.
• Solicit subcontractor pricing for work outside of self-perform group.
• Participate in internal bid reviews with supervisors and project team.
• Assist in other duties as assigned and hand-off secured projects to Operations.
