Job summary

Performance Contracting Group is seeking an experienced Estimator II for its Spokane, WA operations. This role involves performing quantitative takeoffs, establishing labor productivities, maintaining vendor relationships, and soliciting subcontractor pricing for work outside of our self-performing group.

Responsibilities include internal bid reviews, customer alignment, contract administration, and using estimating software such as On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of estimating construction projects.
• Experience with estimating or managing specialty scopes of construction.
• Ability to read, interpret specifications and drawings for PCI scopes of work.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with cost analysis capabilities.
• Ability to read project schedules for sequencing and durations.
• Proficiency with estimating software such as On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam Revu, Procore, PlanSwift.
• Strong understanding of bidding process and estimating techniques.
• Ability to work well in teams and independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative takeoffs on construction projects.
• Establish labor productivities for estimates.
• Maintain relationships with vendors for pricing.
• Solicit subcontractor pricing for out-of-scope work.
• Assess market conditions to establish margins.
• Participate in internal bid reviews with supervisors and project teams.
• Support customer alignment objectives and relations.
• Handle contract administration for secured projects.
• Use wage and benefit schedules in estimates.
• Hand off secured projects to Operations team.
• Assist in change order management or billings as needed.
• Support estimating team for product line collaboration.
