Qualifications

5+ years of experience in construction estimating, bidding, or project management.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry pricing.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills for coordinating with subs, vendors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial and/or industrial construction projects.
Review and analyze blueprints, specifications, and project scopes to develop detailed bid packages.
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure best value.
Conduct material takeoffs and quantity surveys for all trades.
Collaborate with project managers and field teams to align estimates with project execution plans.
Track and maintain bid calendars, deadlines, and proposal submissions.
Identify potential project risks and incorporate appropriate contingencies into estimates.
