Job summary

Bryan Construction Inc. is seeking an Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial construction projects.

You will analyze plans, specifications, and related documents to determine scope, develop quantity takeoffs, labor and material pricing, subcontractor solicitations, and final bid proposals. Responsibilities include managing drawings and RFIs, coordinating pre-bid activities, creating and reviewing takeoffs, entering data into estimating software, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or similar field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Basic ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, and proposals.
Skilled at building and managing relationships; customer service.
Knowledge of project workflows and associated impacts.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
Analyze plans, specifications, and related documents to determine project scope.
Create quantity takeoffs and labor/material pricing.
Manage RFPs, RFIs, and bid packages with the project team.
Review subcontractor proposals for inclusions and exclusions.
Support bid day activities and organize post-bid documents.
Maintain unit cost records and historical data.
