You will analyze drawings and documents, perform quantity take-offs, and develop conceptual budgets from early plans. You will collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure precise estimates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Construction Estimator in a commercial setting.
• Proficiency in interpreting architectural, structural, and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ability to prepare conceptual budgets from preliminary sites, SIR, and building plans.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for commercial projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Analyze civil and building prints, geo and Phase I reports, topo drawings, ALTA survey, specifications, proposals, and other project documentation to prepare accurate time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Perform quantity take-offs for materials, labor, and equipment needed for construction projects and be able to analyze general contractor’s general conditions.
• Ability to prepare conceptual budgets from preliminary sites, SIR, and building plans.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, general contractors, and subcontractors to gather information and ensure accurate estimates.

Requirements and qualifications

5 + years/ Proven experience as a Construction Estimator in a commercial setting.

Proficiency in interpreting architectural, structural, and engineering drawings and specifications.
