Job summary

Leoforce, located in Springfield, MA, seeks a Senior Construction Estimator to lead cost estimation across healthcare, higher education, K-12, and private school projects.

You will review drawings, prepare detailed estimates, support proposals, and collaborate with clients and subcontractors to ensure bids meet budgets and schedules.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in construction estimating and strong knowledge of materials, safety regulations, and project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, especially healthcare, higher education, K-12, or private schools.
• Proven expertise in construction management, cost estimation, and project management.
• Proficient with cost estimation and project management software.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-service mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal construction and health and safety regulations.
• Professional certification in construction estimating or project management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust contract expenditures, and review/change orders.
• Participate in project management tasks to keep projects on budget and schedule.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and estimation techniques.
