Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a Senior Construction Estimator to join our team in North Olmsted, OH. The role involves preparing detailed cost estimates for diverse construction sectors, reviewing plans, and advising on feasibility and cost-saving opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction estimation, strong analytical and mathematical skills, and proficiency with cost estimation software. Certification such as CPE is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Estimator or in a similar role.
• Proven experience in estimating construction costs for various sectors including hospital, higher education, school, commercial, federal or state or government construction, retail construction, and multifamily construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in computer software for cost estimation.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or other relevant certification would be considered an advantage.
