Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for various construction projects across healthcare, education, and commercial sectors.
• Review drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Participate in proposal preparation and client presentations, providing clear and concise cost information.
• Conduct site visits and gather data to aid estimation.
• Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to discuss cost estimates and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor and adjust contract expenditures, and review and process construction change orders.
• Participate in project management tasks to keep projects on budget and schedule.
• Stay abrea st of industry trends and advancements in construction estimating techniques.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our company's construction projects, including healthcare facilities, hospitals, higher education institutions, K-12 and private schools, and commercial buildings. Your primary responsibility will be to estimate the costs of these construction projects, ensuring that our projects are financially feasible and profitable. This role requires a strong background in Construction Management, Cost Estimation, Project Management, and the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for various construction projects across different sectors, including healthcare, education, and commercial industries.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in construction management, cost estimation, and project management.
• Proficient in relevant software, including cost estimation and project management tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a customer service mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and work under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal construction and health and safety regulations.
• Professional certification in construction estimating or project management is a plus.
