Job summary

BrightView Landscapes in Raleigh, NC seeks a BVG Estimator who reviews plans and prepares bid information for commercial landscape and irrigation projects, ensuring competitive and accurate proposals.

Responsibilities include gathering take-off data, preparing routine and detailed estimates, updating supplier pricing, and using take-off software to present results to management. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with HCSS and Take-Off experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience in landscaping estimating and managing landscape and irrigation projects.
• Experience with HCSS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Proficiency with On-Screen Take-Off.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

Education And Experience

Physical Demands/Requirements

• Constant operation of a computer and other office equipment, such as alaptop, acell phone, and printers/copiers
• Position is sedentary; must be able to remain in a stationary position for a majority of time
• Ability to maintain, in your possession at all times, required medications to address any known allergic reactions should they occur

Work Environment

• This role works in an indoor office work environment.
