We are seeking someone who has construction estimating experience and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, enjoys meeting new people, has excellent communication skills, can multi-task, and hit deadlines. If you can work independently and are self-motivated then youll thrive in this fun on-the-go work environment. There is NO cold-calling and ALL work being estimated is as result of mitigation services we have already provided and the customer has indicated they want us to do the work.

As a valued member of our Construction Division you will receive a competitive pay structure with an opportunity to learn, grow, and advance over time.

Primary Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to explain our construction services and process expectations
• Using state-of-the-art technology to create an accurate sketch and initial scope of work for construction projects
• Work with Construction Superintendents to price bid items and obtain quotes from sub-contractors as needed
• Deliver a consistent and well-defined estimate and scope of work that meets client requirements and company profit objectives
• Follow-up with the customer to answer any questions and get signed authorizations to begin the work

Necessary Experience and Skill Set

• MIN 2 years previous construction estimating and/or insurance adjusting experience
• Superb customer service track record
• Effective written and oral communication
• Advanced math skills
• Proficient use of Xactimate estimating software or willingness to learn
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Team Player
• Must have a good driving record

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

Walking and/or standing throughout the day. Frequent driving and sitting. Occasionally climbing ladders into attics or going into crawl spaces. Possibly exposed to extreme conditions such as heat or cold. The noise level in the work environment and jobsites can sometimes be loud.

Normal Working Hours: FT/Monday Friday 7:30am 5:00pm (normal hours)
