We are seeking someone with construction estimating experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, meeting new people, and has excellent communication skills. The role requires multitasking, meeting deadlines, and working independently. All work is based on mitigation services already provided, with customer approval to proceed.

As a member of our Construction Division, you will receive a competitive pay structure with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Primary Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to explain our construction services and process expectations
• Use technology to create accurate sketches and initial scope of work for projects
• Collaborate with Construction Superintendents to price bid items and obtain quotes from subcontractors
• Provide clear estimates and scope of work that meet client needs and profit goals
• Follow-up with customers for questions and approvals to start work

Necessary Experience and Skills

• Minimum 2 years of construction estimating and/or insurance adjusting experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Effective communication skills
• Advanced math skills
• Proficiency with Xactimate or willingness to learn
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented attitude
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record

Physical and Work Environment

Walking, standing, driving, and sitting are common. Occasional climbing of ladders, entering crawl spaces, and exposure to extreme weather conditions are possible. Worksites can be noisy.

Working Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm.
