Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Estimator in Milwaukee to join our team. You will play a critical role in the preconstruction process, preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial and industrial projects.

Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure bids align with goals. A Bachelor’s in CM/Engineering is preferred, with 5+ years of estimating experience and proficiency in Bluebeam, Procore, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating.
• Proficiency in estimating software incl. Bluebeam, Procore, AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Participate in bid strategy meetings and project handoffs.
• Maintain and update historical cost data and unit pricing.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure seamless transition from preconstruction to execution.
