Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Estimator to join a top Wisconsin General Contractor. You will support preconstruction efforts by preparing bids, takingoffs, and estimates for commercially focused projects.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely delivery, and collaboration with clients and project teams. The ideal candidate has 2+ years as an estimator, strong math and analytic skills, and proficiency with estimating software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Estimator in construction.
• Proficiency with takeoffs, estimates, quantity takeoffs, bidding and conceptual estimating.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.

We are partnered with a top General Contractor who has a phenomenal reputation in the Wisconsin market, as well as nationally. They are on the search for someone who still wants to grow with a firm. You will use your expertise to secure work with current and new clients. The company has been in business over 100 years with a very strong pipeline of commercial work. They are looking to expand their construction team as part of their growth plan by hiring a PreConstruction Manager to take on some key responsibilities.

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Job Details

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Estimator in the Construction industry.
• Proven experience with takeoffs, estimates, quantity take off, preparing bids, and conceptual estimating.
• Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
• Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Professional certification in estimating or a related field is a plus.
