Jobot seeks a skilled PreConstruction Manager / Self-Perform Estimator for our partner, a top Wisconsin GC. You will develop estimates, manage takeoffs, and help secure new work with clients. Milwaukee-based, with a strong pipeline and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of estimator experience in construction.
• Proficient in takeoffs, estimates, bids, and conceptual estimating.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and codes/regulations.
• Proficient with estimating software and tools.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and detail-oriented skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage cost estimates for preconstruction.
• Collaborate with project teams to prepare accurate bids.

You will use your expertise to secure work with current and new clients. The company has been in business over 100 years with a very strong pipeline of commercial work. They are looking to expand their construction team as part of their growth plan by hiring a PreConstruction Manager to take on some key responsibilities.

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Job Details

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Estimator in the Construction industry.
• Proven experience with takeoffs, estimates, quantity take off, preparing bids, and conceptual estimating.
• Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
• Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Professional certification in estimating or a related field is a plus.
