Qualifications

• General Construction, Roofing and/or Sales Experience (2 years) preferred.
• A Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Able to climb up and down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet.

CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR

• The position is salaried, with minimal overtime hours
• No supervisory responsibilities

Summary of Job Description:

• Prepare bids from architectural drawings, specifications and other pertinent bid documents
• Perform project take-offs
• Researching, sourcing, negotiating and obtaining best prices and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
• Prepare project submittals for specified contract projects
• Analyzing data that can affect costs (such as currency exchange rates and the company’s productivity rates
• Will work closely with the sales force to provide them with accurate information for the creation of proposals for customers
• Actively review project variables in order to find the most competitive and customer-centered roof systems available
• Review estimate and supporting documentation with estimating department manager or senior estimator
• Make follow-up calls on outstanding/delivered proposals with the business development associate who is assigned to the project
• Travel to customer’s locations and inspect roofs
• Develop and maintain information on products, vendors, subcontractors, and government requirements
• Communicate with customers and check roofs for problem areas
• Measures roofs and estimate the amount of roofing material and labor needed for roofing project.
• Able to identify problem areas of roof systems and document findings accurately.
• Prepare project submittals for specified contract projects
• Will need to travel out of town occasionally.
• Market company and our services while out in the field performing inspections

Job Requirements:
