Job summary

Kokosing Construction is seeking an Equipment Coordinator to support multiple projects by tracking equipment locations, coordinating moves, and improving utilization. This salaried role involves working with the Works Department and project teams to ensure timely equipment availability and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment schedules, attending scheduling meetings, and collaborating with maintenance and trucking to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma with at least five years experience in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of different heavy equipment and their capabilities.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize for efficiency.
• Willingness to travel as required to perform job duties.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Viewpoint Construction Software.

Responsibilities

• Process requests for all types of equipment required to build projects using calls, reports, site visits, or other methods.
• Coordinate equipment movement between projects to improve utilization and reduce outside rentals.
• Collaborate with Trucking, Maintenance, and project teams to schedule and complete equipment moves.
• Attend scheduling and preconstruction meetings and maintain equipment schedules for all projects.
• Monitor equipment utilization and adjust as needed to meet project dates and reduce rentals.
• Maintain accurate locator information for equipment locations and statuses in the system.
• Liaise between field supervision and maintenance supervision to manage equipment.
