Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Coordinator to support construction projects within the Kokosing Group.

You will track equipment locations and coordinate moves between projects to optimize utilization and reduce outside rentals. Responsibilities include processing equipment requests, attending weekly scheduling meetings, updating equipment schedules, and collaborating with dispatch, maintenance and project teams to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 5 years of experience in construction or construction equipment rental.
• Must be knowledgeable with different pieces of construction equipment.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Utilize reports and site visits to process equipment requests.
• Ensure appropriate equipment is provided to projects.
• Seek alternative methods to fill needs using new technology.
• Coordinate equipment movement with dispatch and maintenance to meet dates.
• Attend weekly scheduling and preconstruction meetings.
• Update and maintain equipment schedules for all projects.
• Monitor equipment utilization and reduce outside rentals.
• Notify management of equipment shortages or excess.
• Act as liaison between field supervision and maintenance.
• Monitor repair costs for rebuilds and capitalization potential.
• Compare revenue hours to meter hours to ensure correct billing.
• Collaborate with department to fulfill equipment and material needs.
• Monitor status of available / down equipment to improve utilization.
• Maintain locator information for equipment locations in system.
