Job summary

Kokosing is seeking an Equipment Coordinator to support multiple construction projects by tracking equipment locations and coordinating moves across sites in Ohio. You will help improve utilization and reduce external rental costs while working with field teams and maintenance staff.

The role emphasizes on-site cooperation, strong communication, and reliable scheduling to meet project deadlines and optimize equipment efficiency. Training will be provided to enhance fleet management skills.

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma with construction industry experience.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities are required.
Willingness to travel as needed and work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Process requests for all types of equipment needed to build projects.
Ensure the appropriate equipment is provided to projects as required.
Identify alternative methods and new technology to fulfill needs.
Coordinate equipment moves with the Trucking Department dispatcher and maintenance teams.
Attend scheduling and preconstruction meetings for equipment-related projects.
Update and maintain equipment schedules across projects.
Monitor utilization and reduce outside rentals through improved coordination.
Notify management of shortages or excess equipment.
Act as liaison between field supervision and maintenance for equipment.
Monitor weekly usage and ensure accurate billing for deployed equipment.
Maintain locator information for equipment locations in the system.
