Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 5 years of experience in the construction industry or construction equipment rental industry.
• Knowledge of construction equipment and their capabilities.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Process requests for all types of equipment required to build the projects.
• Ensure appropriate equipment is provided to the projects for the application.
• Search for alternative methods to fill needs (new technology, different ways to complete tasks).
• Coordinate equipment moves with trucking and maintenance to meet project dates.
• Attend Weekly Scheduling Meetings and internal Preconstruction Meetings for equipment management.
• Update and maintain Equipment Schedules for all projects.
• Monitor equipment utilization and reduce outside rentals through improved communication.
• Notify management of shortages or excess equipment.
• Act as liaison between field supervision and maintenance to maintain equipment.
• Monitor repair costs for potential capitalization.
• Track equipment usage by revenue vs meter hours to ensure correct billing.
• Collaborate with department members to meet equipment/material needs efficiently.
• Monitor status of equipment (Available/Temporary Available/Down).
• Maintain locator information for equipment locations and statuses in the system.
