MGC Contractors, Inc. is seeking Operators for our Texas Division in the San Antonio/New Braunfels area. This full-time position requires operating heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, scrapers, and compactors on active construction sites across Texas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of related experience operating dozer, loader, backhoe, gannon, scraper, or compactor.
• Five or more years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand wheels, levers, and pedals to drive machines and attachments.
• Grade or redistribute earth, aggregates, or materials for construction.
• Use GPS and laser leveling to regulate elevation and slope angles for rough grading.
• Attach and align equipment per guidelines and signals.
• Monitor gauges and indicators to ensure proper machine function.
• Inspect equipment and report deficiencies.
• Read blueprints, survey markers, and stakes.
• Communicate directions and warnings to coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
