Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking a skilled Motor Grader Operator in Texas who will operate a grader to prepare subgrades for road construction. The role includes following safety standards, reading plans, and performing daily equipment checks.

The candidate should have at least a high school diploma or equivalent and possess the ability to work in dusty environments while maintaining accurate measurements and alignment per project specifications.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate motor grader safely and efficiently per company safety standards.
• Aligning machine, cutterhead or depth gauge with reference stakes and guidelines on the ground.
• Attach different blades or attachments to equipment.
• Experience with GPS is a plus.
• Grading experience is preferred.
• Read and understand plans and specifications.
• Conduct equipment inspections, grease, and oil daily to maintain proper working condition.
