Job summary

The role requires reading survey stakes, following OSHA guidelines, and coordinating with crew to meet project timelines. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of field experience, may need a CDL Class A/B, and must pass required physicals and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.
• CDL, Class A or B may be required.
• Annual physical examination may be required.
• May need certification prior to operating some equipment.
• Truck operators may require a valid state motor vehicle license.
• Must read, write and communicate clearly with supervisor and co-workers.
• Utilize basic math to calculate load weights and balance points.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate moving equipment in various environments.
• Drug test and background check may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Operate power construction equipment to excavate, lift, move and grade earth and pour concrete.
• Move, load and off-load materials for construction purposes.

• Maintain communication with supervisor and co-workers during operations.
